Part of the long-established Velcourt Group, we are a team with extensive experience in the forestry sector. With over 50 years' experience dedicated to silvicultural excellence across forests and woodlands in England and Wales.

SERVICES
Our forest managers are all Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Foresters or working towards professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters. The company offers UK Woodland Assurance Scheme (UKWAS) certification through its group scheme audited to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) standards. We are also certified to ISO 9001 (quality Management) 14001 (environmental management) 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) are members of the Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA) and registered as a project developer with the Woodland Carbon Code.
As well as providing forest management services our team members have specific skill sets that enhance our offer to clients including arboriculture, forest valuations, GIS mapping and timber harvesting and marketing. We ensure we match these skills to your requirements.

OUR HERITAGE
Our founder Andrew Bronwin established Bronwin & Co. in 1996. 25 years later, in 2021, Bronwin & Co merged with Abbey Forestry to form Bronwin & Abbey, offering forestry management services throughout the UK, with a focus on Wales, the Marches and Midlands.
In July 2022 we became part of the Velcourt Group of companies, now uniquely situated to offer independent forestry, farm management and agri environment services throughout the UK.
In 2024, our founder Andrew Bronwin took a step back from his role as MD, but is still actively involved in the business.
