About Heartwoods
Heartwoods
is a woodland initiative covering the West Midlands managed by the Small Woods
Association – a not for profit organisation supporting the woodland and forest
industry. Its aim is to bring 10,000 hectares of undermanaged and unmanaged
woodland in the West Midlands back into management. To this end, Heartwoods have secured funding
through the Rural Development Programme for England to provide a subsidised
advisory service to woodland owners.
